			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>So.. I usually eat 1-2 protein bar every single day as a part of my diet plan.  I think I've tried more than 20 brands by now.  I'm talking about the ones you can get from any grocery markets, not from specialty stores or online stores.  </p>
<p>After trying dozens of brands, I came to think maybe someone could find it useful if I make a small database of protein bars with full nutrition information and some pictures.  It will be a fun challenge for me as well.  Please stay tuned for more information coming up.  </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Since my goal is to lose 40 lbs in 40 weeks, 1 pound a week, I needed to figure out how many calories to burn to lose a pound of fat.                There are roughly 3500 calories in a pound of fat.  That means, if I reduce my intake by 3500 calories per week, I can expect to lose a pound each week.  That's 500 calories per day.  </p>
<p>I think this is a great starting point for me.  </p>
